The PSVK was started by help of few social workers to initiate unique model of social work, Self Help Group Creation, formal education and computer education through community participation first in Patna district of Bihar and further replicated in other district of Bihar, UP and Jharkhand.
PSVK visualizes to create a value added society based on social justice, unity, integrity, equality, peace trust and freedom through community organization, participation and empowerment by providing equal access to right to food, clothing, shelter, education, health and information.

Our Motivation
Patna,Bihar, India�s is most Growing city, is perhaps best described as a paradox � the centre of opportunity and the locus of poverty. With thousands of people migrating into the city every month, a majority of its population living in urban slums constantly deals with issues such as unemployment, lack of water, poor or complete absence of sewerage and waste management facilities, pollution, and as a result of all these, very poor health conditions. PSVK, founded in July 2004, is a non-profit, non-government, community based organization, committed to improving the Education, health & Empowerment of these communities. PSVK has over the years changed its focus from primarily preschool children to rural women one that covers different aspects of community .
PSVK field areas in Bihar, Jharkhand, UP, and West Bengal include Gaya, Jehanabad, Saran, Bhojpur, Rohtash, Varanashi, Kanpur, Allahabad, Asansol, Jamtara, Hazaribag and Deoghar is also working with communities in the cities of Pune, Mumbai ,Delhi and in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

3. Improve well being � increase income of a supported family by Rs. 1000/- per month. Reduce health expenditure of family by Rs. 500/- and increase enrollment of children to the school.
